When it comes to corporate exchange server solutions for e-mail then I suppose that two names jump to mind immediately Microsoft Exchange and Novell Groupwise.

I have to say that when it comes down to the intracies or coporate solutions for e-mail I start to get a little lost. I have read through the blurb on Groupwise archiving solutions and whilst I know i am not dumb, I think there needs to be a little less jargon in the literature to make it readable to the masses.

Its easy to get involved in your industry and its jargon and its not until you step out of the box into another persons industry or domain that you can self reflect on your niche in the market and take a fresh look at how you speak to your client base and explain how your industry works.

Groupwise storage solutions for example could have myriads of explanatory notes with it, but to the uninitiated its nothing more than gobbledygook. I am sure that there are groupwise forums out there where, if you are will to find out more and ask the right questions about storage and archiving that you find a fastidious helper to explain it all to you.

In the mean time I would like to see more jargon free literature online with some-one telling it to me like I was a three year old, ( quote from the Jury room in the movie ‘Philadelphia’)
