“Add Blogging to Your Top Home Based Business Marketing Strategy!â€

By now,  unless you’ve been living under a rock you know, or at least have heard about blogs – as a matter of fact, you are reading  at a blog now. Anyone attempting to build an at home based business, needs to have their own blog. But  to make sure that you understand blogs, let’s start by defining just what a blog is?

In the beginning they were called “Web Logs” but were shortened to blog, a blog is typically packed with a “log” of information. The blog you’re reading is about “providing tips” to enhance the success for home based small business professionals – however, my friend Betty, who manages an insurance business, told me just recently that, she finds my blogging techniques very important for her small company  as well!

Betty could begin blogging about insurance tips – she told me most people don’t have coverage for earthquakes and that is a ” a piece of vital information most people who live in an earthquake zone would find absolutely useful. Bottom line: Betty and any others with some type of specialized expertise, would have plenty of useful information that could be shared on a blog.

The basic premise of a blog is to supply the reader with what they would appreciate.  Well, what is that value and appreciation? It means different things to different people of course!

Blogs can provide entertainment, or facts, or tips, or ‘how-tos’, or personal information, or motivation. You get the point? The list of areas you could cover with blogs is endless.

One of the primary goals of a blog is to establish a relationship between you and your readers.  Your credibility will be enhanced through a blog as an expert as long as you consistantly provide important and useful content.

In two short years, another good friend of mine lost almost 170 pounds. She talked about her ordeal every day in her blog as well as, her challenges, her set-backs, and her victories. She now has a ton of new energy that she excitedly talks about in her blog. She has been an inspiration to thousands of people – and she has been directly responsible for tons of weight-loss through her blogging.

This blog is  meant to give top home based business entrepreneurs, (and small business professionals in general – thanks Betty), things they could use to keep their businesses learning and growing. We want all of our readers to be able to build a successful work from home company, and our objective is to offer value by providing expert advice through our content.
